Cowboys Better Handle Business—Because the Back Half Is a Buzzsaw

 Let’s be real—if the Dallas Cowboys don’t tighten up and start stacking some wins before their bye week, they’re gonna get steamrolled in the back half of the season. This isn’t the time for moral victories or “we almost had it” speeches. It’s crunch time. The Broncos are up next, and if the ‘Boys don’t come out swinging, they’ll be limping into the bye with a losing record and a whole lot of questions. 

Dak Prescott’s been slinging it, and CeeDee Lamb is back to torching secondaries, but that defense? It’s been softer than a warm tortilla. If the defensive crew doesn’t start locking things down, they’re gonna get exposed when the schedule turns savage. These next couple of games are the Cowboys’ chance to build a cushion—because after the bye, it’s like walking into a meat grinder with no helmet. 

Let’s talk about that schedule. It’s not just tough—it’s historic. Six straight games against teams that won 11+ games last year? That’s not a schedule, that’s a punishment. Eagles, Chiefs, Lions, Vikings—every one of those squads is built to break you. If Dallas doesn’t enter that stretch with some swagger and a winning record, they’ll be lucky to crawl out with playoff hopes still intact. 

And don’t count on the NFC East to bail them out. The division’s a dogfight, and nobody’s handing out freebies. Washington’s scrappy, Philly’s nasty, and even the Giants can punch you in the mouth if you sleep on them. Dallas needs to stop playing like they’re waiting for someone else to step up. It’s time to bully the Broncos, stomp the Cardinals, and roll into the bye like they own the place.
